My inspiration for this painting

The figure of Hercules was my focus from the beginning, because it embodies strength, courage and wisdom in Greek mythology. To express these characteristics in my painting, I consciously choose a rough texture, which gives the viewer the feeling of strength. 

I deliberately made the material uneven in order to achieve a natural and authentic effect. The choice of color was also of great importance to me. I decided on a dark blue, which emphasizes the depth and intensity of Hercules' power. 

Together with the gold, it creates an atmosphere that captivates the viewer and immerses him in another world. I wanted to give the artwork a particularly noble note and therefore incorporated 24 carat leaf gold. This material symbolizes richness and luxury for me, but also durability and value.

Overall, it was important for me to create a painting that has deep meaning and at the same time radiates strength and inspires the viewer.
