Golden Age – an original abstract painting by Sabine Runge
The power of renewal. A dense, almost stone-like structure runs diagonally through Golden Age, like a fault line formed slowly over years. From the deep, almost black foundation, 24-karat gold leaf breaks through in fine, branching lines, tracing all the way up into the bright, cloud-white upper half.
The combination of champagne chalk and genuine marble powder gives the surface a mineral depth that stays matte, while only the gold responds to every shift in light. This original abstract painting was created in Sabine Runge's studio near Munich.
