Abstract Original Paintings for Luxury Properties – Penthouse, Villa & Architecture
Teilen
Large spaces leave no room for compromise.
Anyone furnishing a penthouse, a villa, or an architecturally ambitious property knows this. Furniture, materials, light – everything is carefully considered. And then a print hangs on the wall that bears no relation to anything else in the room.
I paint abstract original paintings made for exactly these spaces. Multi-layered surfaces of acrylic, texture pastes, and marble powder, refined with genuine 24-karat gold leaf – works that respond to natural light, shift with the time of day, and carry a physical presence no print can replicate.
Why Abstract Original Art Defines Luxury Spaces
High-end architecture creates the frame – art creates the soul.
In penthouses, villas, and exclusive lofts, a strong abstract work is not an accessory. It is the central design element that emphasises proportions, activates light, and emotionally charges a space. Abstract originals with gold leaf or structural pigments respond to natural and artificial light – they shift the atmosphere of a room throughout the day in a way no print can achieve.
Luxury is created through individuality and meaning – not through square metres.
Three Principles for Architects and Interior Designers
For interior designers and project developers, art is a strategic design tool.
Focal Point – a single large-format work as the sole visual anchor. It defines the entire spatial axis and sets the tone for the whole interior. Colour Concept – the painting as the starting point for the room's entire colour palette. Materials, textiles, and furniture are coordinated around it, not the other way around. Spatial Sequence – multiple works along a circulation axis (hallway, staircase, reception) create a coherent aesthetic narrative throughout the entire space.
Formats for Generous Spaces
Large spaces need works with corresponding presence:
From 150×120 cm – maximum impact for high walls, open living areas, entrance halls. 120×100 cm – classic statement format for living rooms, libraries, dining areas. Portrait format 100×140 cm – ideal for staircases, narrow wall surfaces, corridors. Multi-part installations – diptych or triptych for panoramic wall surfaces.
Custom formats for a specific wall are available on request in direct dialogue with me.
Colour Concepts for Luxury Interiors
Blue, turquoise, petrol, and gold – timeless elegance for representative spaces and reception areas. Black, white, grey, and gold leaf – minimalist luxury, perfect for contemporary architecture. Champagne, rose, and gold – warm and inviting, ideal for private living spaces. Indigo, violet, and copper – powerful and exclusive for spaces that want to make a statement.
