What turns to gold was once embers. Aurum Rise was created with acrylic, marble powder, and sand, in warm shades of pink, coral, and amber that flow into one another like ash still holding warmth – grainy, dry, almost like weathered rock in the last light of day.
24-karat gold leaf and acrylic gold don't sit side by side but merge into one another: sometimes as a clear, bright glow, sometimes only as a faint shimmer seeming to smolder beneath the surface. This original abstract painting is part of the "Echoes" series, created in Sabine Runge's studio near Munich.
Living with Aurum Rise means living with a light that shifts with the day – a quiet shimmer in the morning, a warm glow at dusk. An original for anyone who knows that true warmth doesn't need to be loud.
