Ethereal Genesis – an original abstract painting by Sabine Runge
There is that one moment when fog first begins to lift – nothing is clear yet, but something is announcing itself. In Ethereal Genesis, shades of blue blur together in exactly this state: deep Prussian blue dissolves without a clear edge into lighter turquoise, glowing brighter toward the center. Acrylic gold doesn't appear evenly, but like islands of light discovered by chance – sometimes sharply defined, sometimes barely more than a shimmer.
This original abstract painting was created with acrylic, marble powder, and sand, and is part of the "Echoes" series, made in Sabine Runge's studio near Munich. It captures the moment just before something new appears – no longer fog, not yet fully formed.
