My inspiration for this artwork

The Arctic landscape served as inspiration for this artwork, which reflects the untouched heart of nature. During the creative process, I felt an indescribable sense of calm and peace rise within me. The icy landscape covered in snow, untouched and majestic, mesmerised me in a way that I cannot put into words.

The cold blue tones are reminiscent of the natural beauty of Alaska. Every brushstroke was carefully placed to immortalise the radiance and stillness of this landscape. I wanted to give the painting even more depth and meaning. So I decided to incorporate 24 carat gold leaf into the artwork in order to create a contrast between the harsh, wintry landscape and the brilliance of the gold. This precious material adds an extra layer to the image and enhances the artwork.

My aim was to immortalise the solitary heart of nature in this artwork. I wanted to portray the splendour and power of the Arctic landscape in a way that deeply touches the viewer. I hope that my painting will help us all become more aware of our environment and protect it.
