Del Mar – an original abstract painting by Sabine Runge

Waves never break the same way twice – each movement of the water is unique, even though the sea itself always looks the same. That's exactly what lives inside Del Mar: a dense, relief-like structure of deep ocean blue, shaped like a single moment of shifting current.

Metallic gold breaks through the blue in scattered points, sometimes hidden within the structure, sometimes clearly visible on the surface. The structure paste gives the piece a dynamic, almost three-dimensional relief. This original abstract painting was created in Sabine Runge's studio near Munich.
