The essence of vastness. In Scent of the Sea, deep turquoise, ocean blue, and soft violet weave into a relief-like surface reminiscent of sea foam and coastal rock formations – almost as if the scent of salt and wind rose straight from the canvas.
24-karat gold leaf breaks through the color layers like captured sunlight – sometimes clearly visible, sometimes only a faint shimmer. Champagne chalk and structure material give the surface a lively, organic texture. This original abstract painting was created in Sabine Runge's studio near Munich.
