Ocean of Clouds – an original abstract painting by Sabine Runge
Sometimes it's no longer clear whether you're looking at water or sky. In Ocean of Clouds, light shades of turquoise and blue blur together in the upper half, becoming something that could just as easily be clouds as foaming sea, while dark, almost midnight indigo gathers along the lower edge.
Metallic blue moves through the relief-like texture like reflections on shifting water – calm and matte in one light, glowing from within in another. This original abstract painting was created in Sabine Runge's studio near Munich.
In its compact format, Ocean of Clouds brings vastness and depth to a bedroom or living room – the first thing you see in the morning and the last at night, a small moment to breathe, every single day.
