My inspiration for this artwork

I would like to share with you my inspiration about my artistic process and what inspired me to create the artwork "7 Senses". For me, awareness in life is an important aspect that I would like to express in my paintings.

I used the wet-on-wet technique to incorporate the soft pastel tones from light pink to dark purple into the structure of sand to create a harmonious overall effect. In this way, I wanted to bring a certain lightness and calmness to the artwork to encourage and remind viewers to focus on being here and now and to be more mindful as they go through life.

I wanted to create a painting that reminds us of the importance of living here and now and being aware of the beauty around us. The artistic process was a journey of self-reflection and mindfulness for me.

It is my wish that my artwork will contribute to us reflecting on our senses more often in everyday life and going through life in a more mindful way.
