Originals with lasting presence

My original abstract paintings are built up in many layers of acrylic, marble dust and textural materials, some with accents of 24-carat gold leaf or silver leaf. The result is textured paintings whose surfaces change with light and viewing angle – no work looks the same at every moment.

My work is inspired by Mediterranean light, the movement of the waves and reflections on the water. From this come colour worlds in blue, turquoise, sand and stone, traced with gold and silver.

Today my artworks are part of private collections in 16 countries. What connects these collectors is rarely a shared interior style, but the search for works that don't decorate – they accompany.

Why originals feel different

An original painting has a presence that cannot be captured in a photograph or a print. Light falls on textures, shadows shift with the viewing angle, and every layer carries the traces of its making. In abstract painting especially, much of the effect comes from the material itself – relief, fine surface cracks and the interplay of matte and glossy areas.

Unlike an art print, each of my works exists only once. It is hand-painted, signed on the back and sealed with a wax stamp.

Buying abstract art – finding the right piece

If you are looking to buy an original painting, the best place to start is the room: which wall, which colours, which light? Large formats from 100 × 80 cm work beautifully above a sofa, in a dining area or a hallway as a calm focal point. Smaller formats suit bedrooms, studies or a gallery wall.

All works arrive ready to hang – as gallery canvas with black-painted edges or in a floater frame. If you are unsure which size or colour world fits your space, I am happy to advise you personally. Works can also be paid in 2 to 6 monthly instalments.

Questions about the original works

What materials do you use?

I work with high-quality artist paints, professional gallery canvases and custom-mixed texture pastes. Selected works are additionally finished with 24-carat gold leaf or silver leaf.

How is the artwork shipped?

Each work is carefully packed, fully insured and shipped in a custom-made wooden crate. Building the crate takes 2–3 working days. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number.

Shipping is handled by DHL Express, UPS or comparable carriers.

Shipping costs & delivery times:
– Germany: free, approx. 3–5 working days
– USA, Canada & South America: €149, approx. 14–21 working days
– Rest of the world (outside the EU): €199, approx. 14–21 working days

Due to the new EU packaging regulation, shipping to other EU countries is currently not possible. For deliveries outside the EU, customs or import duties may apply and are payable by the recipient.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, individual payment plans as well as Klarna and PayPal installments are available. With a personal payment arrangement, the work can be paid in 2 to 6 monthly installments and is reserved for you during that time. Shipping takes place once the final installment has been received. With Klarna and PayPal installments, the work ships directly after purchase.

Can I commission an individual work?

Yes. Commissions are developed in close dialogue about format, colour world and atmosphere. Together we create a work that fits your space. Feel free to get in touch with your request at any time.

How do I care for my original painting?

A light dusting with a soft, dry cloth is all it needs. All works are varnished to protect colour and surface over the long term. Direct sunlight and extreme humidity should still be avoided.
