Sabine Runge's abstract paintings – with their interplay of 24-carat gold leaf, deep tactile texture and compositional strength – are made for exactly this range. Gallery-quality originals: buy abstract paintings in Düsseldorf directly from the artist
Every original begins with Sabine Runge's characteristic layering technique: several layers of acrylic build a three-dimensional surface, enriched with texture pastes, fine sand particles, various chalks and marble powder. Fine pigmentation ensures lasting luminosity across the entire canvas. 24-carat gold leaf and silver leaf are applied by hand and catch the natural light – a quality that works particularly well in Düsseldorf's diverse interiors, from the warm afternoon light of a period apartment on the Königsallee to the cool northern light of a loft in Flingern.
Every painting is sealed with a satin UV-protective varnish, hand-signed and delivered gallery-ready on high-quality canvas. Sabine Runge has sold more than 120 original paintings to 16 countries. International collectors value the exceptional quality of materials and the transparency of buying directly from the artist – factors that make these works lasting collector's pieces. For discerning buyers in Düsseldorf and the whole Rhine region, these contemporary abstract works are one-of-a-kind pieces with deep aesthetic content.
