My inspiration for this artwork

When I created the artwork "Lavenders Blue", my intention was to create a purple sea of flowers to the horizon and at the same time capture the warm atmosphere of the southern French light. It was meant to be a tribute to the beauty of the lavender fields that are so typical in this region. The creation process began with intensive research on lavender and its importance in French culture.

The light of the south also plays a significant role in my work. To capture this warmth, I used indigo yellow and let it gently meet the purple tones. This created a harmonious interplay between sunlight and flowering fields. Overall, creating "Lavenders Blue" was an intense and fulfilling experience. It required patience, dedication and the ability to give myself completely to the process.

But in the end, I'm convinced that I succeeded in capturing the beauty of the sea of purple flowers stretching to the horizon in an abstract way, while reflecting the warm light of southern France. During the creative process, I literally felt the scent of lavender in my nose and heard the buzzing of the bees around me. Every stroke of my brush contributed to bringing this vibrant atmosphere to the canvas - every detail should be perfect.
