Vertical bands of cool white and deep Payne's grey sweep across the entire canvas like rain or wind — at times dense and interwoven, at times light and broken. This captivating dynamic emerges through multiple overlapping layers: a textured ground forms the foundation, over which additional layers of paint were drawn and blended using a squeegee and sponges.
