My inspiration for this painting

My inspiration came from a fascination with the interplay of colors in a fireworks show, which I've always found to be something magical. The blaze of color that was unfolding on the canvas was simply breathtaking. I especially loved the combination of Greenland blue, neon pink and white. There is something very vibrant and dynamic about these colors that I really wanted to capture in my painting.

I wanted to create a colorful artwork that would light up the eyes of the viewer. But it was not only the aesthetics that moved me to create this piece. "Fireworks" represents a new beginning, a chance to leave the past behind and start into a better future. That's exactly what I wanted to express with this artwork - the possibility of always starting over and surpassing yourself.
